Summer Vacation

Just a little update for my fellow bloggers. Although I am still stamping and creating projects during the summer, I decided not to post anything until September. Since I am home with my little baby girl, I want to enjoy my time with her before I go back to work in September. Also it's more difficult in the summer because there is no set routine.

I am also anxiously awaiting the new release of the SU! catalog. It's so bittersweet. On the positive side, I need a new stash of stamps but on the not so positive side, it means summertime is drawing to an end, and the new school year will begin shortly. With that I spend less time with my DD.

In September, I will have a new section added to this blog dedicated to May Arts Ribbon. They have such great ribbon, and there are new styles that have been released. I already have some, but will only start selling them in late Aug. early September. So all you ribbon hoarders out there WATCH OUT!

On Stamper's Showcase Again!

So I checked Stamper's Showcase again on the demonstrator part of Stampin' Up!'s site, and I was so  happy to see another card I made there.

Again I used the "she's All That" stamp set from SU! for the card. I made this card for a demo only swap.

Looking at the card again I know there are some changes I could make to the card. Perhaps I will give it a makeover soon. Perhaps next month. If I remember to do it I will be sure to post it.

Materials used: (All Stampin' Up! unless noted)

Stamp: She's All that

ink: Basic Black

Cardstock: Pale Plum, Basic Grey, Sage Shadow, Whisper White

Other: White Taffeta Ribbon, ribbon slide, and dazzling diamonds.

I've been working on some swaps, wedding invitations, and 3 scrapbooks. needless to say I have been pretty busy. As soon as I am done with those I will be sure to post some pictures. Or perhaps I may post as I go. We'll see how much time I have to post!

Stampers Showcase

So the demonstrator section of Stampin' Up!'s website has a section called Stampers Showcase. In this showcase are samples that demonstrators submit to SU! for contest entries or just because they want to. To my surprise today I saw my own card on there and it was so exciting, because it was my first card published on their site!

Ribbon Update

Hi girls,

May Arts Ribbon Collection has ended

A special thank you to all those who purchased the different ribbon collections. It was a success... I've been cutting ribbon since last saturday and am still not done.
